Local Councils

Local councils can play a crucial role as conservation partners, contributing significantly to environmental protection and sustainable development within their jurisdictions. Their involvement spans various areas, from policy-making and resource management to community engagement and education.

Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife (MINFOF)

MINFOF collaborates with organizations, providing financial and technical assistance, advocating for policy changes, implementing land management practices, and developing strategic plans to protect and enhance wildlife and their habitats.


Korup National Park (KNP) Management 

Our partnership with KNP managment demonstrate a comprehensive approach to conservation, combining scientific research, community engagement, and sustainable development to protect the rich biodiversity of Korup National Park.

The Programme for the Sustainable Management of Natural Resources in the South West Region of Cameroon (PSMNR-SWR)

The program aims to balance the conservation of high-value ecosystems and endangered species with the socio-economic development of adjacent communities. Our collaboration has been very successful in areas of education, research, and livelihood improvement. 

Ministry of Basic education (MINEDUB)

Thanks to our partnership with Ministry of Basic Education (MINEDUB), we have successfully integrated environmental education into the curriculum, promoting sustainable practices, created and functionalized Environmental Education (EE) clubs in schools and communities, 


Ministry of Environment, Nature Protection and Sustainable Development (MINEPDED)

MINEPDED is our comprehensive conservation partner involved in policy, implementation, and capacity building. Its diverse functions and organizational structure enable use seek advise and solutions environmental challenges and sustainable development.

Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MINADER)

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MINADER) in Cameroon plays a crucial role in environmental conservation, although its primary mandate focuses on agricultural development and rural livelihoods.

WWF Coastal Forest Programme, Cameroon

The WWF Coastal Forest Programme in Cameroon is a significant initiative focused on biodiversity conservation and sustainable development. 


German Technical Cooperation (GIZ), Cameroon

GIZ's role as a conservation partner in Cameroon is evident through its support for sustainable forest management, biodiversity protection, and climate-sensitive resource management, working in collaboration with various partners to achieve these goals.
