Livelihood and Poverty Allevation

  • Promote farming as an alternative source of sustainable income instead of wildlife hunting
  • Donate farming equipment to farmers and schools
  • Support scholarship for the poorest of the poor in our target communities (school materials, fees, etc)
  • Promote green initiatives e.g. bee farming, small scale poultry and non-timber products value chain improvement
  • Support community infrastructural development (water catchment protection, ease movement of persons and goods to remote villages, small scale solar energy and ecotourism initiatives)
  • Support to victims of wildlife attacks and seek participatory solutions to wildlife (especially elephants) crop damage and attacks
  •  Alternative livelihoods skills development  and long term engagement of especially  hunters and women
